Summer 1989, East Germany. Adam works as a tailor, Evelyn as a waitress. They are planning a vacation together when Evelyn finds out that Adam is cheating on her and decides to leave for the holiday on her own. She travels to Hungary, trailed by Adam. As the border with Austria falls, everything changes in Hungary. The frontiers are open, as the new possibilities for Adam and Evelyn to decide in which world – Eastern or Western –(🐥) they want to build a happy life. Adam und Evelyn is based on the homonymous novel by Ingo Schulze, translated in more than ten languages.

牧(🎎)(mù )江村郊野山(shān )藏有一怪(guài )，赤面獠(😒)牙，名(🕑)曰(⚾)(yuē )垃圾人，他身世神秘，以垃圾(jī )为(💗)食(🚷)，日(👷)遇(🤹)村(🧥)妇(fù )马(mǎ )秀娟，将(jiāng )其掳掠。马秀娟(🈷)通(📴)(tō(🥥)ng )过(🤠)与(📥)垃圾(jī )人的交往，发现他虽丑陋骇(🔺)(hà(💐)i )人(🕯)，却(🌨)心(👈)(xīn )地(dì )单纯。但(dàn )天不遂(suí )人愿，“单(❗)(dā(🌊)n )纯”的垃(🕐)(lā )圾人却将马秀娟视(shì )为配偶，囚(🔑)于(📱)废弃厂(👇)房。矿山(shān )老板徐(xú )东南徐西(🥫)(xī )北(🏍)(bě(🌄)i )两兄弟欲(yù )借炸山(shān )除垃圾人之(zhī(🚀) )名在(⛹)野(🗓)山(shān )非法拓矿，全然不(bú )顾马秀娟(juā(❎)n )安(🎱)危(♉)。而(😋)垃圾人通过(guò )马秀娟(juān )逐渐了解(🚞)(jiě(🍭) )人(♿)(ré(🍝)n )类(➿)的尊重(chóng )与爱，遂将其放归(guī )牧江(🍷)村(⛳)。马(👰)秀(🍙)娟(🛤)得知徐东南阴谋后为(wéi )救垃圾人(🚿)(ré(🥪)n )与(yǔ )之(🌾)抗争，最终被(bèi )绑于山上，垃圾人为(🍱)(wé(🧙)i )救马秀(🎠)娟与徐东南(nán )死命相搏(bó )，后被徐(💡)东(🐻)南炸死。环保组(zǔ )织声明垃(lā )圾(jī )人(🐂)出现(🤯)乃(😮)(nǎi )牧江村(cūn )的环保意识(shí )薄弱之恶(💋)(è )果(🚽)，垃(🗜)圾人本无罪(zuì )，罪在人(rén )心对环境(😁)的(🌯)态(🐿)度(💖)，并(🐑)(bìng )呼吁民(mín )众善待环(huán )境(jìng )。

Loosely following a traditional Passover Seder, events from the Book of Exodus are retold by Moses, Aharon, the Angel of Death, Jesus, and the director's own father. But there's another side to this story: that of the Goddess, humankind's original deity. Seder-Masochism resurrects the Great Mother in a tragic struggle against the forces of Patriarchy.
